Customer feedback about the Learn Real English experience

The strongest point of Learn Real English is to teach us how to speak correct, native English.

“Three years ago, I decided to go to an American graduate school. However, I had never lived in any English speaking countries before. To make it worse, I had served in the army for the last two years and did not have any opportunity to learn English. So I forgot almost every word. When I took the speaking section of the TOEFL, I was not able to think
of English words that match the Korean words I wanted to say. I got depressed and sad. I really wanted to speak English fluently and confidently. I searched the internet to see if there might be good online English tutorials for non-native English speakers like me. This is how I met Learn Real English for the first time.

I believe one of the problems non-native English speakers experience is to say English in our own way. We have learned a lot of grammar and vocabulary in school but we do not know how to use it correctly. So when we speak, we tend to hesitate and not be confident. Also, although some native speakers can understand what we mean in contexts others may not. The strongest point of Learn Real English is to teach us how to speak correct, native English. They do not want us to learn by rote memorization. They just make us learn the exact phrases and sentences naturally through repetitive dialogues and stories. This can let me know the correct way of speaking English.

I started school in the U.S. last fall. Although I still have difficulty speaking English naturally, at least now I can think of
English words fast and say them out loud confidently. Also for the last two years with Learn Real English, my pronunciation and listening skills have improved a lot.”
