    I wonder how do you tip in a buffet restaurant? An american ever told me no need to tip in a buffet because everyone is helping himself, hence no service at all, is that true?

    I know in HomeTown Buffet it’s charging before starting to eat, so no need to tip; but in some other buffet it’s confusing because they bring the bill after eat done; in such situation can I refuse to pay tips? thanks.
