But I beleive that article without video can’t be helpful.

This article is very easy to understand and it helps me a lot. But I’d rather prefer the video because watching your video is like I’m in a real class session facing my teacher discussing his or her lesson. Aside from that the way you talk and your motivation in the video is making me more eager to learn proper english speaking. In my opinion, the article and the video are easy to understand. They are a good combination to improve oral and writing skills. Nowadays, I prefer focusing all my effort on listening without any text. However, listening and reading at the same time may be helpful for most people.

The idea of having native speakers as “real” sourse of learning this language is awsome! But my question is : There are so many options on native speakers talk available on the net(you tube, for instance), going to a video rental and watching a movie following the english subtitles or even listening to a song …that I cannot understand the advantage of buying thios material of yours! What kind of advantage am I going to have if I buy it ?

About your methode, I prefer both, be cause when I’m watching your video it help me to understand listenig methode and pronounciation, so after watching your video I can remember a lot of pronounciations when i’m reading and I will be able to read all the article even 2 hours I can concentrate to sit and read all article. I have to say “Thank You” to all the teachers. You ARE the best! Actually, the article is clear and helpful. I personally prefer the videos because I can see you teaching in front of me just like a real friend speaking with me. but, the text article is also helpful to make me fully understand all the sentences and materials. So, I want them both. Be sure, both the videos and the text articles are simultaneously important to all the students learning good English.

I like the whole idea, as it is, the Real English, which is used in everyday speech among native English or American English speakers.
Another question, that in our country how many times I meet native speakers..
I think the usage of a certain level of English came out from the hands and reach of the native speakers and became global.. I mean this is the way or sometimes only way of communication between non native speakers as well, for example in the field of science, politics trade etc even in everyday contacts in their workplace etc.
It became the modern world’s latin and much more as latin had been in the past centuries. So Your effort is apprecited so much, but as everything it has its own limits…
Some people can say why should I learn how the American or British people say something in their slang or with the help of their special phrasal werbs or using their special/ local accent – when I have been there and I realised that at home, in practice, that I always use the formal old fashioned expressions to be clear, or read a book or I have my internet connection with mostly other people…
This lesson, I think is inevitable and indispensable for non native speakers/ learners who are in or will be in everyday contacts with natives mostly in a non formal way ie. friends etc, living and working in the same culture, mostly English speaking, I mean US English speaking country…
I was glad to meet this method…

Interesting and informative rules.
Listening to another language is important because one has to learn the ‘tune’ or ‘melody’ of that language, too. Reading alone does not help with pronunciation and intonation.
Audio and written texts are both necessary. Video is not so important in my opinion.

For myself, I had read the real article before I watched the rule one video. Because it was better for me to understand what and how should I notice about the english learning in speaking.
In my opinion,I think both of them are important.(read the texts and watch viedos)
Because it depends on different people who want to enhace their insufficient parties.
But I also sugguest that if someone who want to clearly know about what your lessions are, they could read the article at first, and then listen the vedio. They would be much understanding about what they learn today.
In fact, whatever your articles or vedios are earily for us to leran in a quickly way.
If someone actually just need read the text instead of watch the vedios, I think maybe you could distinguish your lessions into two different way.(more texts or more vedios)
I hope that some of my advices will be help yours teaching.

I have not completed all the seven lessons yet. But certainly I will do it within next few days. However, I can say I like videos and texts simultaneously. When I see the video, I pay attention to the movements of the speaker’s mouth to distinguish word articulation during the speech. It works like a lab exercise for me. When I read the text first and then I see the video, the exercise becomes easier. However, I have done exactly the opposite, this way: first, I see the video several times and then I start reading the text, in order to make myself acquainted with sounds and phrasal structure of the English language.

Acctually I must confess that, the base of the “English Learning”, takes my attention as well on the same points where you caught.
On this point I can say only one thing for to prouve it, that;
“LANGUAGE LIVES WITHIN THE PEOPLE…”
When I comment on the question, as one of you, pronounced in your text; the texts are so importants besides the videos too. I am agree with you, because if we are talking about “LEARNING LANGUAGE”, that means we are talking about two of our organs. Tongue and Ears. While texts are addressing to our tongues but videos are addressing to our ears.

I think, I love the articles and videos as well.Articles help to improve spelling,reading and writing at the same time.while videos are helping in listening,understanding the conversation,understanding face expressions and at the same time it helps how to pronounce the correct English word.video is also showing you real events actually. So,both are important for the lessons.

So, i think that I like to do both. Also what is difficult at video you can understand it at the article.

In my opinion I`d preffer to read and to listen to a video at the same time. If it isn`t possible I preffer to read as if there is any word or words that I can`t understand I can look up in a dictionary to see the meaning. Thanks for the emails,it has got a lot of useful information.

I am German and I leave for 45 Years in Brazil,I studied english for many years ,grammar but i cant speak.I was listen to Your 7 Rules and i anderstand all that,i think that is the best system to lern english.My taugther leave in Tampa Florida,my Wife and I will go to visit her in November this Yeahr,but i mean that I dont have time to learn enove english on this time,but when I come back to Brasil in January 2010 ,i prommiss you to learn english with Your course,because i find him excelent and not verry dificult.

The article is easy to understand compare to those in college text book. Especially the sentence structure, I don’t find anywhere I am not sure about. If you want me to choose between text or video, I will go with video. There are two reasons for that. First, I personally like the video, I find it more interactive. Second, I often get lost when reading long article, so I have to back track the text and read it again. It cost me more time and energy, yet it gives me a result which is not what I have expected.

the idea of your teaching method is really excellent since most of english teaching -learning method s are based on text book. eventhough this text boox emphazises on 4 languange skills(speaking,listening,reading and writing), it doesn’t work well. most students are able to understand grammatical rules, vocabulary and many things but the problem is: they are unable to speak with native speaker. your method really inspires me to learn in the different way. The videos are really good, if you want to add more article, I think it will be useful for all learners/students especially beginer. finally I would like to say thanks a lot for all

The article is clear. I prefer to see videos, but it is useful to have a lessons in orden to have better pronunciation. I like the frases about : imagine speaking fast, using slang and idioms correctly and speaking with excellent pronunciation.

I just to add that your writing lessons are great and they really help when at the same you listen to video recordings.As for myself,I do prefer to follow videos and read the text so that helps a lot to hear the particular word and at the same see how that word is written. The text is clear, nicely put down and there is nothing for me to say. Just keep going.

firstly, I want to tell you I’m a begginer student of English language and I live in Sao Paulo – Brazil. Fortunately I’d knew Learn Real English when I was looking for a new method (surfing on Internet!). So, I’d liked very much about the comments that I received by 7 days e-mails. That’s why my English is bad! specially my grammar. But I’m impressed with the LRE method. I think is better than others teaching methods and the most important, in my opinion, is: Listening, listening, listening, how yours suggestions. However, it’s also important to read a text to understand what we will listen.

I’d rather films than texts. Because they are more attractive. There are a lot of informal expressions, slangs, idioms, etc in the film but in a text, there is nothing. A student has a lot of English texts about whatever he wants and texts can be found easily on the internet, text books, educational books and so forth. But the thing can’t be found easily is some expressions which native speakers use them. Obviously I prefer films.

I like your teaching methods very much. You are really big on teaching English. I have bought your lessons in fifth day of seven rules. And I have forwarded your 7 rules to one of my friends. She also liked your teaching technics but as we have noticed you say “We don’t need you to buy our lessons” so many times and this makes people to think opposite way of it. I think you are great teachers and you got the point. You’ve really understood what problems esl students have to manage. However I think my previous teachers did a good job too, I can’t understand native speakers, casual english and american movies easily … not yet, but I’ve been listening your audio and your videos with no problems at all. I’ve to say too, that listening to British people is easier for me.

If someone want articles, to make articles for them is not too bad.

I have subscribed your basicifferent from the 7 lessons. I found it very helpful. They were totally different from how I learnt English during my schooldays.
The techniques are applicable when I tried them to my athletes. now they can understand me better than a month ago. Before this, I gave them written instructions which most of them tried to translate using dictonary.

I would like to thank you all for your excellent efforts that you made on the best methods of learning English. My problem was not speaking quickly and automatic as the grammar rules limited my ability to do so. Whenever I speak I try to use the correct grammar rules as possible. The second problem was to known the best was to learn more vocabularies/to enrich my vocabularies.
Now I have known the secrets (Your rules). I have been improving in both as well as getting the benefits of following and using the other remaining rules since I joined you.

i prefer videos much better, but i belive there are some more people, who can’t understand videos so easily, so maybe would be good for them to listen and to follow article as well, but probably it’s double to work for you to do…

This is an excellent website. I am from the Philippines and this is exactly what our problem is. We are good in grammar and spelling but only in writing and making reports but our english most of us, students at school and even the graduates can’t hardly speak English properly. Some manage to speak profesionally but slow and very formal not natural English as spoken by people in English speaking countries. I wish you could go to the Philippines and introduce this system of learning conversational English.

Well! Like the rest of students I too followed you three closely with an impression that your methods are so good, clear and easy that can make learning English real fun and a worthwhile activity — not wastage of time. Though I haven’t found all the ideas new.
I myself have been a teacher with love of idioms and passion to teach and see new young learners be happy after learning something new.
Your way of teaching, your combination of ideas and most of all your enthusiasm and fondness to impart something useful is excellent — standing you all in goood stead while a teacher. No wonder the students taught by you will find it a bonus in a successful life.
What I found really good was two things. Firstly, your insisting on doing something thoroughly and keep doing it. Secondly, listen-and-answer technique.

It true that you have to speak clear, so we can understand what you are telling to us, but I’d like to hear something how you realy speak normaly. Don’t worry if we can’t understand anything. I received all of your fantastic 7-learning-rules and fully agree with each word you said about them. Also I could download your Sample Real Conversation lesson about Earthquake. It’s the greatest lesson I ever heard before.
I’ve been learning English for 5 years since I arrived in America(NYC)I studied it hard from scratch at different schools with different styles of teaching, but still cannot speak and write to the point at all. I’m a professional at my job but could work no more then 6-12 months because of my English or, rather, lack of it.
After trying your lesson I’m greatly confident that all of them are exactly what the English students need right now. I m from Algeria.I want to say that these vidios are really great,they helped me so much.In reality, I was doing opposite whate you were saying.I just was focusing on Grammer tha is why I could not speak well the English and french.But now, I have the golden keys to learn any foreing language. Concerning me, I prefer both vidios and texts, because there are people learn by eyes and others by ears. Unfortunately, I can not buy the lessons I have financial problems.

Dear teachers, I’m a level B1/B2,it seems. To me the text is really simple and easy to understand. If you fear a lack of comprehension for someone, you could ask some of your students all over the world to translate it and send to you. You could even create subtitles just to explain. But I think that your students can already speak and read a bit of English. To them the text is really simple. YOU ARE GREAT! I’ve just bought your lessons!

I think this is the incredible method, real english or real conversation is fact in real life. I could inform you in english course and collage nothing teach the real conversation. When i an interview in foreign company, so many many i learn speak english in native speaker (american speakers), buy several english books, conversation with english teachers but the result no satisfaction, because when i interview with them, they are used the real conversation. So when you about the real english conversation, i remmember about this. So you not teaching english conversation only, but you teaching us with saw situation too. i very happy with your method. i think so many-many people will be help with you methode.

Text is good so, but I prefer the video or the audio, because the first goal for me is to speak easly and quickly;We might learn reading and writing by the traditionnal teaching way.

I’ve got the same problem that you refer in your video.I studied english at school,I understand a little bit,but is difficult to me understand fluenty discourse by native speakers, but professor A.J.Hoje speak so clear that I understood everything without read the text.Your method I thing is wonderfull.

Great method. I’m sure I’ll improve my English. For my job listening and speaking is really important. I think the videos may help me more than to listen the mini- histories and conversations. To see the face of the speakers may help to understand better the text.

i think ur article easy to understand…i have one big problem right now…i am going to sit IELTS…i noticed that i am very weak in reading section…i have follow every advice that people teach me which is read first sentence in each paragraph in order to get topic sentence about the paragraph…this skill does not improve my score in reading..so i don’t know what to do?….

Thank you to your 7 rules English lesson.I think you help a lot of people learning English.On my own opinion conversation is really good to learn English.Reading is also help the way you pronounce the words.In my country our second language is English.You can’t pass the 1st grade if you fail the English subject.In 1st grade we learn the words then a simple sentence.In high school we learn vocabulary,spelling,reading..etc.In my country if you did not go to high school or did not finish we did not learn much English because we don’t speak English in the house,but we can speak a little bit,because we learn a little bit in school.And that is my problem i did not finish my high school because of financial problem.That is why I’m here trying to learn more but i can’t afford to buy your product because i don’t have job yet.I just want to tell thank you to all teachers doing this website,you really help a lot of people learning English.It is true that you don’t need to learn grammar because most American don’t speak with good grammar either.I read some comment on your website and i observe most of them have a wrong spelling to their simple words and my advice is correct their spelling.I admire all of you for helping us.I just hope that someday i can get your product to improve my English.Thank you very much for your time..God bless you all.
